SPF Digital Championship

The 2018 SPF Digital Championship will be held on Sunday 18th Nov 2018 at Stirling Court Hotel.

SPF Digital Championship Details
This competition will be open for entries via our website Online Entry very soon. All entries must be completed online. 

The format of this competition remains the same. You can read all of the rules for this competition by downloading the paperwork from the Digital Championship page of our website (just scroll down to 2018 Event) or click the below button for a PDF copy . 
All of your 'bank of images' will require to be uploaded to the website, and your 1st Round selected from those images. Paperwork will then be available to print out.

We have again supplied a collation form for your 'bank of images' which you can use to finalise your bank prior to completing your online entry, but please use only the print out you obtain from the website for on the day of the Competition. 

Closing Date for Online Entry 4th Nov 2018. Your entry fee and copy paperwork to be received, by post, by 11th Nov 18

Individual Awards will again be presented - Best Creative - Best Portrait - Best Landscape - Best Nature** as well as Best Overall and Judge's Choices.

Entries must be submitted in advance   -   Only one person must collate and submit all entries from a club, this is usually the Club's Competition Secretary   –   1600 pixels horizontal and 1200 pixels vertical maximum image size  (we continue to accept smaller sizes)   -   Maximum Bank of 40 Images; Minimum required 20   –   Max 25% nature in any one round    -   1st Round Entry selected in advance (8 Images, max 2 per author)   –   Someone must attend to select your following rounds on the day   –   Round 2 must be all new images from the bank (8 Images, max 2 per author)   –   Plate (10 images) or Final (20 images) you can reuse any images   -   Images from your ‘bank’ not projected can be used in future years.

A brand new purpose built hide, specifically designed for photography, but also totally suitable for all nature lovers. An exclusive experience for a maximum of three people.
A setting which will cater for a wide range of photographic skills and equipment.
High level and ground level viewing hatches to allow photography from different angles.
The opportunity to see red squirrels and other woodland creatures in their natural environment.
A range of natural perches.
A variety of woodland birds, including long tailed tits, jays, nuthatches and tree creepers.
A selection of feed options to encourage the animals to use different props.


Visitors should book the hide in advance.
Full day sessions and half day sessions are available.
A full day session runs from 9.30am until 4.30pm.
Morning sessions run from 9.30am until 1pm, afternoon sessions from 1pm until 4.30pm.
Visitors are asked to arrive 30 minutes prior to the start of their session.
